Work Location: Across all Fortescue Pilbara Operations

 

Roster: 7D7N7R OR 7D7N14R – FIFO ex Perth, Busselton, Broome, Karratha, Port Hedland, Fitzroy Crossing and Kununurra

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on large-scale mining equipment
  • Undertake general fabrication duties and repairs
  • Collaborate with the maintenance teams to achieve 100% schedule compliance.
  • Maintain compliance with Fortescue and site-specific safety procedures and policies
  • Ensure all maintenance works are completed to a high standard

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Fabrication
  • Previous experience working on large scale mining equipment, in an operational environment
  • High level of safety awareness and orientation
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
  • Experience using Microsoft programs and computer based maintenance systems (SAP desirable)
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence
