• Fortescue’s Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people.

Roster: 7D7R ex Perth

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, Fortescue is seeking a Safety Focused and motivated Operator to join the Infrastructure Services team at their Eliwana mine.  This position is responsible to safely carry out duties including general maintenance in NPI operations area, including, but not limited to Water and Wastewater distribultion/inspections and the collection throughout the mine.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate HR Potable Water Truck and Vac truck
• Operate earth moving machinery, skid steer, excavator and/or loader
• Provide information to the Supervisor to assist with statutory and company reporting as required
• Communicate with site operations personnel 
• Maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness by carrying out daily pre-start inspections 

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered suitable applicants will have: 

• Current HR Driver's License Minimum 1-year with a good driving record (desirable)
• Previous experience operating a vacuum truck (desirable) 
• Forklift or Telehandler (desirable)
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills including report writing
• Strong Safety focus and awareness of Site based Road Rules
