Roster: 8 days on / 6 days off FIFO from Perth

In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you’ll provide vital support to daily site operations and lead the charge on improving and embedding our Health & Safety Management Systems. This is your opportunity to be part of a high-performing team that values integrity, action, and care.As an HSES leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, health, and wellbeing of everyone on site. You’ll oversee critical emergency services, coach and mentor operational leaders, and help drive real, measurable change across our systems and culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily medical, security and emergency operations, ensuring swift and effective responses across site
- Partner with leaders and frontline teams to foster a proactive and engaged safety culture
- Ensure emergency equipment is maintained and up to date.
- Provide expert, up to date knowledge on Emergency, Security and medial to Hedland Operation Leaders
- Ensure Site Medical Centres are well-equipped and deliver high-quality care
- Maintain a state of operational readiness across emergency services, security, and medical teams
- Implement and maintain the Port Maritime Security documents
- Implement and maintain the Emergency Service suite of document (plan, procedures etc)
- Support complex workers’ compensation cases in partnership with Injury Prevention Services (IPS)
- Provide accurate ES data and insights to guide injury prevention and strategic decisions
- Continue to build and develop Emergency Response Team, Incident Management Team
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in Emergency Services Leadership role in mining, construction, or similar industries
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Emergency Management and or Medical (RN/EN)
- Strong background in emergency response and medical/security leadership, including incident management
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, coaching mindset
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with a focus on data-driven outcomes
- A current WA "C" Class Driver’s Licence
