Electrical Planner & Scheduler

Work Location: Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.
Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth
Reporting to: Senior Planner
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Planner to join our dynamic team at Iron Bridge. This is a FIFO role from Perth operating on an 8D/6D roster, supporting the electrical maintenance planning and scheduling requirements across the site. As a key member of the Maintenance Planning team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of both routine and non-routine electrical maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed electrical maintenance plans, schedules, and shutdown work packages.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
- Coordinate resources including labor, materials, and equipment to support maintenance execution.
- Monitor maintenance budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Analyse equipment performance data to support proactive and reliability-focused maintenance strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align maintenance plans with operational priorities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Trade certificate (Electrical Fitter/Mechanic) or degree in Electrical Engineering, with a valid electrical license.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance planning and scheduling within a heavy industrial environment.
- Proficient in SAP and other CMMS/planning tools.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
