Our Opportunity

Location: Perth Distribution Centre

Roster: Monday to Friday (12-month maternity leave cover)

Reporting directly to the Superintendent Warehouse, the Warehouse Supervisor plays a pivotal role in our operations. We are seeking a passionate, integral, and enthusiastic individual ready to embrace the challenges of a fast-paced environment. As a key leader, you will be responsible for providing direction and leadership to our Warehousing and Distribution teams, ensuring the efficient planning and execution of daily operations while enhancing service delivery to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and champion a safety-first culture within the Warehousing and Distribution teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement through quality analytical performance and operational data.
  • Efficiently manage inventory movement, minimizing reliance on warehouse space while maximizing Delivery In Full, On Time (DIFOT).
  • Provide assistance in the Priority freight process, identifying and eliminating all risks to the business.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and efficiencies, actively participating in the development and implementation of standardized processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and technological advancements, integrating them into warehouse operations where applicable.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in Warehouse and Logistics leadership roles, preferably within mining or similar industries.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Flexibility and creativity in problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Experience in fostering and implementing safety cultures and processes.
  • Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
