Location: Kidlington, Oxfordshire

 

Roster: Monday to Friday, WFH arrangements available - minimum 3 days in the office.

 
The Senior Strategy Advisor plays a pivotal role in supporting the development of an executing strategic initiative that drives business growth and improves operational efficiency. 
 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Market intelligence: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive dynamics, and internal capabilities across business units to identify strategic opportunities.
  • Decision making support: Provide leadership with data-driven insights, analysis, and strategic recommendations to enhance decision-making processes.
  • Business Case support: Support business units with rigorous analysis and evaluation of new opportunities, including market entry strategies and growth initiatives.
  • Partnerships: Assess the strategic rationale and commercial viability of external partnerships to align with FZ’s long-term objectives.
  • Inorganic growth: Identify, evaluate, and screen potential inorganic growth opportunities that align with FZ’s strategic vision.
  • Financial modelling: Develop and maintain financial models to support portfolio optimisation, business performance analysis, and ad hoc requests from the Senior Leadership Team.

Qualifications and Experience

 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; 

  • 4 + years of experience in strategy development, management consulting, business analysis, or a related field.

 

Key Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, financial modelling, and strategic planning tools.
