This role will include deployment of proprietary energy transition products, for testing or use outside of Fortescue. The role covers a dynamic range of responsibilities such structuring, designing, modelling, analysing and optimising the energy model and forecasts across value chain and production processes, plus preparing compelling storylines and charts as part of executive decision-making processes. The candidate will have a familiarity with technical understanding of renewable power supply and demand and operational energy demand and a willingness to work with Subject Matter Experts in Fortescue and partner/clients to develop the required models and summary presentations.

The Analyst will also work closely with the Decarb Green Energy, Green Equipment and Green Mining teams in Morocco, who are responsible for collectively building applications and green transition outcomes which leverage the Fortescue suite of Renewables and Green Energy transition offers, that are required for Decarbonisation of end users to reduce emissions (Scope 1 and 2) and increase productivity as they grow production volumes.

This position will be best suited to an individual who thrives when working collaboratively across multiple workstreams, and excels when working in a fast-paced, challenging environment and most importantly who demonstrates a high-level of resilience and flexibility.
