Our Opportunity

Title: AI Change & Adoption Specialist

Work Location: Perth Office

Roster: Monday to Friday

Fortescue is scaling up its AI foundations to unlock the next wave of value across both its Metals and Energy businesses. We turn artificial-intelligence prototypes and ideas into real business value. That means changing how people work and integrating technology into our everyday. You will own the human side of value delivery; working with the business to identify where opportunities exist, ensuring that every model, dashboard or agent lands cleanly in operations, hits its targets and delivers for the users. Working within the core AI team, you will map processes, prepare frontline teams for change and prove the dollars in the bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the face of AI to managers and GMs across the business
  • Build and execute change plans (stakeholder analysis, comms, training, adoption KPIs)
  • Facilitate workshops to capture current-state processes and design future-state journeys enabled by AI
  • Develop user-segmented training curricula and “train-the-trainer” assets
  • Track adoption metrics and feed insights back into the product roadmap
  • Coordinate with Legal & Risk on Responsible-AI communications and policy roll-outs
  • Act as Product Owner proxy when AI Strategists are deep in discovery to keep delivery cadence unblocked
  • Create board-ready artefacts that translate technical wins into business language.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experienced in organisational change management / digital adoption; experience with data or AI products preferred
  • Certified Change Practitioner (e.g., Prosci ADKAR) or equivalent track record
  • Comfortable running process-mapping sessions (BPMN or similar) and translating outputs into agile backlogs
  • Proven storytelling ability - you can brief a shift supervisor at 6 am and a director at 6 pm
  • Familiarity with OKR frameworks and benefits-realisation tracking
  • Analytics skills to self-serve adoption dashboards (Power BI, Tableau or Looker).
