Work Location:  Pilbara, Western Australia.

 

Roster:  4D3R ex Perth. Mon-Thu inclusive OR Tues-Fri inclusive - 12hr shifts

 

** 2 roles on offer - both 6 month Fixed Term Contracts

 

The Aerodrome Ground Handler plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of aircraft and passengers at Fortescue’s aerodrome. Working as part of a small, high-performing team, you will support ramp operations, passenger check-in, aerodrome maintenance tasks, and general duties that contribute to the smooth daily running of the facility.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Carry out daily aircraft ground handling operations in line with airline standards and procedures, including ramp and check-in functions

  • Provide high levels of customer service for all scheduled aircraft movements

  • Perform aerodrome maintenance activities such as cleaning, weeding, painting, minor repairs and general upkeep

  • Complete tasks aligned to your skill set as directed by the Aerodrome Supervisor

  • Maintain safety, compliance and service standards at all times

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Relevant experience and qualifications in ground handling for F100, B712, A320, A319 and B738 aircraft

  • Strong customer service capability

  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and manage competing priorities

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality service delivery

  • Competency in MS Office, SAP, online induction systems and workflow tools
