Christmas Creek - Mining Operator
Our Opportunity
Work Location: Christmas Creek - Fortescue’s Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.
Roster: 7D/7N/7R (2/1) or 7D/7N/14R (2/1) - FIFO ex Perth, Broome, Karratha, Fitzroy Crossing, Kununurra or Port Hedland.
Fortescue is seeking experienced Mining Operator who have operated some or all of the following equipment in a mining environment:
- Liebherr 9400, Liebherr 996, CAT 6040 or Terek 340.
- D10T/D11T Dozer
- CAT 854K Wheel Dozer
- CAT 994H/K Wheel Loader
- CAT 349D Rockbreaker
As a skilled Mining Operator, you will be responsible for operating mobile equipment at maximum efficiency, while maintaining safety, environmental and heritage standards to achieve required operational targets for the business.

Qualifications and Experience
- Ability to skillfully operate some or all the equipment above
- Mobile equipment operation in the mining industry is essential
- Ability to read mine plans
- Knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act Regs
- WA Class HR Driver's License
- Communication and interpersonal skills - two-way operation
