Our Opportunity
Work Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.
Roster: 8D6R – FIFO ex Perth or DIDO ex Port Hedland
We are seeking a highly motivated and professional individual to support our growing Condition Monitoring team and assist with condition monitoring related tasks and inspections of all critical fixed plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete vibration analysis, NDT, thermographic and other condition monitoring related inspections of onsite equipment
- Analyse, generate reports and highlight corrective actions for relevant stakeholders in order to reduce unplanned equipment downtime
- Assisting with RCA other investigative processes at the request of maintenance, production or engineering groups
- Maintenance of role specific databases including MHM, ALS Webtrieve and PDS
- Installation and maintenance of remote vibration monitoring systems.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Fixed Plant environment
- Mechanical / Electrical trade or Tertiary Qualification in relevant discipline
- Vibration CAT II or III certification
- Thermography Level I certification
- Ultrasonic Thickness Inspection UT Level I certification preferred
- Machinery Lubricant Analyst MLA II certification preferred
