Work Location: Fortescue Centre & Bennett St. Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: Monday-Friday

Looking for a highly experienced Database DevOps Specialist to join the IT Database Management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the Database teams CI/CD pipeline and related services
• Maintaining the teams DevOps tooling and development environments
• Monitoring and reporting on pipeline tasks
• Managing the development, testing and production using DevOps practices
• Adding to and maintaining the teams custom PowerShell modules
• Preparing and testing backup and recovery plans of the DevOps environment
• Liaising with DBA’s on how to implement DevOps practices
• SQL Server database management duties required as needed
• Contributing to the development of policies and procedures governing corporate Database operations and related issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator
• A minimum of two years of experience using DevOps pipelines
• Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014/2016/2017/2019
• CI/CD toolsets (Jenkins, Terraform, DSC)
• Windows and Linux administration
• PowerShell development
