Our Opportunity

 

Work Location:  Perth.  Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

 

Roster:  Monday to Friday

 

We are seeking a proactive and safety-focused Dewatering Planner & Scheduler to join our Cloudbreak operations team.

 

This key role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective maintenance planning of our water reticulation network.

 

The successful candidate will lead all aspects of Work Management, support the development and execution of maintenance tactics, and play a crucial role in transitioning our maintenance approach from reactive to planned, customer-focused delivery.  Regular site travel will be required to foster strong relationships and gain a deep understanding of operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the +2 week planning cycle, monitoring execution team performance against schedule and budget.
  • Develop and maintain SAP master data to ensure current asset registers and proper cost allocation.
  • Coordinate equipment, materials, and third-party contractors to support maintenance activities.
  • Ensure statutory compliance across all Water Services activities on site.
  • Assist in developing and implementing maintenance strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Support OPEX and CAPEX budget planning, and champion business improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Demonstrated safety leadership with a strong commitment to Zero Harm principles.
  • Proven experience with SAP, including master data and maintenance tactic development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
  • High-level organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in contractor management, contract negotiation, and service agreement oversight.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an understanding of risk and change management processes.
