Role Overview

Critical to the success of Fortescue’s operation of the Autonomous Haulage System (AHS), this role is accountable for the execution of the Mine Plan using Command MineStar. Reporting to the AHS Mine Control Supervisor, you will be integral to the team that drive efficiencies and optimisation across the mine site.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Maximising equipment productivity through efficient fleet management
  • Meeting and exceeding the mine production plan
  • Being the first point of contact for key stakeholders including AHS Builders, In-field Builders, Pit Supervision, Operators and Blend Co-ordinators
  • Ensuring a high level of data integrity using MineStar Fleet Management System
  • Effectively troubleshoot and diagnose stopped trucks and assignment issues in conjunction with the AHS Builder to solve these issues in a timely manner

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Proficient user of MineStar Command for Hauling or a similar Fleet Management System
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop positive working relationships with both internal & external key stakeholders
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities whilst still producing a high standard of work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure, dynamic environment
  • A team play that can collaborate and work together to drive outcomes
