We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in powering the future of mining operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the reliability and performance of electrical equipment, reducing unplanned outages and maintenance costs.
- Utilise data analysis, machine learning, and dashboard tools to anticipate equipment failures and schedule timely interventions.
- Oversee the design and installation of electrical systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Work closely with mechanical, process and operations teams to integrate electrical components seamlessly into plant infrastructure.
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve electrical issues promptly, providing technical support to site electricians.
- Stay on top of emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing enhancements to operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years in electrical reliability engineering within a mining or heavy industrial processing environment.
- Hands-on experience with Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), protection relays, and power system analysis.
- Proficient in root cause analysis and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
- Demonstrated competency in SAP; knowledge in utilising databases in SQL or Snowflake is advantageous.
