Location: Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.

 

Roster: 8D 6R FIFO ex Perth

 

Join Fortescue’s dynamic Maintenance Planning team and play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of fixed plant electrical assets across the Iron Bridge OPF. Reporting to the Senior Planner, this role provides essential planning and scheduling support to the Electrical Maintenance and Shutdown Execution teams, helping drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and safety outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed weekly and shutdown maintenance plans aligned with operational requirements.
  • Manage and prioritise work orders to maximise equipment availability and ensure compliance with FMG business processes.
  • Monitor and report on work management KPIs, ensuring timely execution and process adherence.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to deliver executable work orders and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate master data management, including BOM reviews, maintenance plans, and task list updates.
  • Facilitate and/or lead planning meetings, providing coaching and guidance on work management processes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Electrical trade qualification (Australian standard) with 3–5 years’ experience in mining process plant maintenance.
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, ideally within SAP or similar CMMS.
  • Strong understanding of fixed plant electrical systems and shutdown planning processes.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a focus on accuracy and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project planning tools (e.g., MS Project).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
