Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and service large-scale mobile mining equipment, focusing on CAT 793 Dump Trucks
- Diagnose and resolve faults to keep operations running smoothly
- Perform both workshop and pit duties as required
- Execute planned & preventative maintenance to optimize fleet performance
- Attend to urgent breakdowns in the field, ensuring minimal downtime
- Collaborate with a dynamic mobile maintenance team to achieve top-tier results
- Always follow strict safety and operational protocols
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology/ Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology – a must-have!
- Mobile plant experience in a mining environment – essential
- FIFO experience and a strong understanding of remote site operations
- Commitment to workplace safety – non-negotiable!
- A valid, unrestricted Australian driver’s license
- Current working rights in Australia
