At Fortescue, we're committed to building leadership capability through our world-class Leadership Academy—and we’re looking for a skilled Leadership Development Specialist to help make it happen.

 

This is a dynamic, hands-on role that combines program facilitation, stakeholder collaboration, and logistical planning—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about developing others. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate travel and accommodation for site-based training.
  • Liaise with site administration to prepare training venues and ensure smooth workshop delivery.
  • Organise and manage workshop materials, resources, and printing of learner workbooks.
  • Collaborate with the Organisational Development team to ensure training resources are up-to-date and aligned with modern learning methods.
  • Deliver engaging in-person and virtual workshops to emerging and current leaders.
  • Facilitate assessment support sessions for participants enrolled in the Certificate IV in Leadership & Management.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to ensure content remains relevant and impactful.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) or willing to undertake
  • Certificate IV in Leadership & Management (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience delivering nationally accredited training programs
  • Previous supervisory experience, ideally in the mining industry
  • High level of organisation, attention to detail, and self-motivation
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms
