Our Opportunity
Work Location: Cloudbreak
Roster: 7 Days / 7 Nights / 14 Off FIFO from Perth, Busselton, Port Hedland, and Broome
Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, you will work from our brand-new line boring vehicles to provide support to our customers with problem-solving, on-site repairs and precision machining.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain line boring equipment, including Hoffman and Triangle ID welders.
- Interpret engineering drawings and work to dimensional tolerances.
- Conduct measurements, alignments, and quality inspections to ensure precision.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety procedures.
- Collaborate with the workshop manager and team to improve efficiency and quality.
- Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving machining and fabrication tasks.
- Ensure work meets customer requirements and company standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Trade qualification in machining, fitting, boilermaking, or a related field.
- Proven experience operating line boring equipment and ID welders (Hoffman, Triangle, or similar).
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, dimensional tolerances, and precision measurement techniques.
- Experience working in a workshop or industrial environment, ideally with heavy machinery.
- Competent with basic computer skills for reporting, logging, or work documentation.
- Demonstrated focus on workplace safety and ability to follow safety procedures.
- Adherence to OEM instructions and specifications to ensure correct repairs and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple trades.
- Previous experience in troubleshooting and maintaining machining equipment is highly desirable.
