Our Opportunity
Work Location: Iron Bridge – Fortescue’s Iron Bridge Project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.
Roster: 5/2, 4/3 FIFO ex Perth
Reporting to the Shutdown & Planning Superintendent, the Long-Term Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining long-term maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency. This is a customer service-centric role; the successful candidate will be required to communicate proactively and effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver the OPF materials budget, including reforecasting and weekly/monthly reporting. This role requires strong experience in budget management, as it is the primary function.
- Create and maintain master data.
- Ensure accurate and timely implementation of master data updates resulting from Maintenance Strategy Reviews.
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve master data processes and ensure data integrity.
- Monitor compliance with Fortescue standards by reviewing legacy data to ensure the accurate creation of technical objects and the correct application of maintenance strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in Mining/Heavy Industrial Maintenance Planning or management of Master Data with budget management experience
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify data quality issues
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with exceptional organisational skills.
