Maintenance Coordinator
Our Opportunity
Work Location: Fortescue Iron Bridge Operation located in Port Hedland and Pardoo on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.
Roster: 8D6R ex Perth
Reporting to the department Manager, the role of the Maintenance and Operations coordinator is to support our leadership team with delivering of safe, efficient and cost effective production for our Concentrate handling Facility and West Canning Basin operations.
Key Responsibilities
- To support and coordinate the Concentrate handling facility & West Canning Basin, to achieve sustainable plant reliability and production requirements in a safe and effective manner
- To support the long-term life of the plant asset, aligned to the strategic requirement of the corporate Asset Management Department
- To plan, coordinator Concentrate Handling Facility & West Canning Basin shutdowns and post shut down close out
- To support the Manager and Superintendent (where required) in all areas of coordination across the department, including, but not limited to, Acting Superintendent & Departmental Project work
- Ensuring Concentrate Handling Facility and West Canning Basin compliance through auditing processes
- Providing leadership Support / guidance to Supervisors and leading hands
- Providing leadership support to permit hut coordinators
- Willingness to learn new disciplines and skills
Qualifications and Experience
- Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Proven experience in Fixed plant overseeing safe maintenance activities.
- Strong leadership experience
- Contractor management experience
- Proficient in Excel, SAP, Anaplan, PowerPoint and Word
- Key stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Work management and planning experiences
