Maintenance Planner
Our Opportunity
Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.
Roster: 8D6R FIFO ex Perth
Join our Iron Bridge Operations team as a Weekly Maintenance Planner - Fixed Plant. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for preparing fully resourced work orders ready for execution, ensuring all labour, materials, and equipment are committed and aligned to mandated timelines, milestones, and KPIs. Your planning expertise will directly support safe, efficient, and reliable maintenance activities to help meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Scope and plan maintenance tasks for malfunctioning or defective assets, defining job steps, durations, resources, and equipment needs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and SMEs to obtain technical input for accurate job planning.
- Coordinate with external contractors to communicate scopes and gather required planning information.
- Present planned works for scheduling, considering operational requirements, criticality, and resource availability.
- Ensure all planned works comply with Fortescue and Iron Bridge planning standards, guidelines, and timelines.
- Plan within budget constraints, aligning with long-term maintenance strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in fixed plant maintenance planning is essential.
- Mining process plant experience desirable.
- Strong knowledge of SAP CMMS (SAP PM module) and work management principles.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and related applications.
