Roster: 14 Days 14 Off Perth FIFO

 

 

Reporting to Maintenance Services Superintendent, this role requires you to lead and develop a maintenance team within the Maintenance Services Department. Ensure all maintenance activities on equipment and facilities are safely executed against schedules, mine plans, corporate procedures and the WHS Mines Act and Regulations.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Foster a safe and positive working culture, and the safe execution of all maintenance activities.
  • Coaching and mentoring direct reports to engage in our safety systems, procedures, and workplace culture
  • Ensure all inspections of facilities and prestart of equipment are completed daily with notifications raised for repairs required.
  • Provide consistent feedback to crew regarding progress on department actions.
  • Review and monitor maintenance personnel performance on a weekly basis. Manage all personnel within the HR process to ensure alignment to safety procedures, work management process, quality execution of maintenance and attendance for work.
  • Ensure full compliance to all BMS obligations, including incident and hazard reporting, field leadership and action participation, including provision of feedback.
  • Conduct a thorough shift pre-start focusing on engagement from your team to drive positive safety culture.
  • Build the technical knowledge within your team to deliver sustainability, reliability and a positive department culture.
  • Achieve >90% of compliance to weekly plan

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Experience in a Maintenance Services Supervisor role, or similar leadership position
  • Experienced in people management, people development and conflict resolution
  • High level of technical experience and knowledge of servicing and facility management
  • Experienced in developing and leading a high level of Safety Leadership culture
  • Experience working with safety management systems
  • Previous mining experience
  • Knowledge of the WHS Mines Act & Regulations, with ability to attain Schedule 26 certification
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent using SAP,BMS, Fiori and Microsoft suite
  • Competent using Anaplan for labour requirements
  • Complete understanding of mine star system and in pit servicing
