Material Logistics Officer

Our Opportunity

Work location: Solomon Power Station

Roster: 8D/6R - Tuesday to Tuesday

Fortescue is seeking applications for Material Logistics Officer for Solomon Energy Operations located at the Solomon Power Station. Your role will be to manage the urgent material requests for breakdowns, planned and project works for the Energy Operations team

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Planning and site execution teams for Energy Operations
• Accurate receipt and storage of incoming parts
• Accurate picking, consolidation and delivery of parts and consumables to our customer base
• Safely loading and unloading freight, including load restraint.
• Maintaining a high level of safety awareness both for themselves and those around them.
• Assist with Cyclic Stock take program.
• Liaise with Procurement, Expediting and Inventory teams to maintain efficiencies around the supply and storage of materials on site.  
• Review of current, overdue and future material requirements. 

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated previous Warehouse experience in will be regarded highly
• LF High-Risk Licence (operating reach truck, 3.5t, 8t, 16t essential and 45t machines will be trained)
• Ability to work autonomously in a team environment
• Strong SAP transactional use/understanding of SAP is essential
• Experience in MS office suite
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
