Location: Solomon


Fortescue’s Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.

 

Roster: 4D/3R FIFO from Perth

 

Fortescue are presently looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Planner to join the Solomon OPF team.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Executing good work management practices
  • Conversion of Notifications to work orders and subsequent scheduling
  • Capacity Planning of future weeks for multiple work groups
  • Managing Maintenance plans, creating, changing and restarting
  • Work within the Fortescue Asset Management Standards
  • A good understanding of Master Data principles and the ability to execute system changes
  • Attend scheduled meetings with the ability to present clearly.

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Mechanical Fitter trade qualification preferred (Not essential)
  • 2 years (min) experience as Fixed Plant Mechanical Maintenance Planner preferred
  • Demonstrated competency in use of SAP
  • Demonstrated ability in the MS Office suite specifically Excel
  • Ability to work in a team to achieve common goals with a strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated & self-managed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Excellent understanding of Work Management Systems.
