Our Opportunity

Work Location: Eliwana

 

Roster: 7:7 Day roster FIFO Perth

 

Reporting to the Non-Process Infrastructure Supervisor, the scope of responsibility includes operation and maintenance of high-pressure compressors, high-pressure booster compressors, generic pumps, instrumentation, telemetry, control panels, and sump pumps.

Additionally, work management includes the management and maintenance of automated lubrication systems and hydrocarbon systems. Finally, frequent inspections of pipelines, valves, and other equipment are also expected as part of the role.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and maintenance of oily water separator systems
  • Pump and motor fault finding.
  • Routine servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repairs on diesel engine-driven pumps and pumps.
  • Inspection and maintenance of electric submersible pumps and centrifugal pumps.
  • Equipment monitoring and diagnostics.
  • Raising notifications and work orders on SAP.
  • Manage, Inspect and maintain automated lubrication systems.
  • Prioritise and attend breakdowns to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Diagnostics and fault finding.
  • Maintain and Operate Nitrogen plant
  • Provide support when required to the Maintenance Services team, in accordance with internal systems and guidelines, to ensure achievement of key performance indicators.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Mechanical fitter or similar trade
  • Experience with computerised maintenance management systems such as SAP highly desirable.
  • HR driver’s licence, forklift, CN, rigging or dogging tickets highly desirable.
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently and within a small team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus and demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Substantial experience in mining production or operations preferred
