Our Opportunity
Work Location: Cloudbreak
Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples
Roster: 7 Days 7 Off FIFO ex Perth
We are currently seeking experienced Operators to join our team at our Cloudbreak mine site. Roles will be dayshift only on an 7/7 roster reporting the Mine Support Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and using safe methods of work to assist the Mine Support team in all facets of the operation
- Developing and implementing a system for efficient ordering of all HV and LV delineation requirements across site
- Installation of all new HV AOZ delineation and the installation and maintenance of LV delineation across site to achieve the CB TMP standard
- Operation of a variety of HME to facilitate delineation installation and maintenance as required
- Maintain assets to operational capacity
- Continuously improve process efficiency
- Demonstrate behaviour that aligns with Fortescue values
- Comply with Zero Harm principles on a daily basis
Qualifications and Experience
- Ability to skilfully operate some of the following: Haul trucks, graders, dozers, watercarts in a mining environment
- Proven experience in mobile equipment operation within the mining industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High regard for safety
- Valid drivers licence (HR desirable)
