Our Opportunity

 

Work Location: Fortescue’s Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.

 

Roster: 5/2 or 4/3 Residential OR 4/3 FIFO ex Perth

 

Fortescue is seeking an experienced Rail Engineering Compliance Planner to join a fast paced, dynamic work environment to support Hedland Operations.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Engage with the Rail Engineering Team to plan and cost control OPEX and CAPEX
  • Assist Rail Engineering Team with compliance to project framework for Capital Works
  • Cost controlling and assisting with budget building and future requirements
  • Liaise with multiple departments to ensure works are completed whilst minimising impacts on other activities
  • Forecast, track & budget multiple projects across infrastructure, rollingstock & condition monitoring.
  • Undertake extensive scoping works with Rail Engineering Projects team

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Extensive & proven SAP knowledge (3 year minimum in a similar role)
  • Extensive & proven Microsoft Project and Excel experience
  • Ability to liaise with numerous stakeholders and SMEs
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to positively influence people to achieve their targets
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills & ability to interact at all levels
