To help us ensure we have the professional workforce to deliver our Real Zero targets, this newly created role will be responsible for the overall development and delivery of our refreshed Global Graduate Program. This role requires a passionate leader who is committed to creating an inspiring, inclusive, empowering environment for graduates. You will collaborate with senior leaders, key program stakeholders and various departments across the entire global business to ensure the success of the program and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of the Global Graduate Program strategy and other early career initiatives, ensuring alignment with Fortescue’s long-term strategic direction.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of the program, from recruitment to onboarding, training, and development.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to graduates, helping them build a strong foundation for their careers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure graduates gain meaningful experiences across departments.
  • Evaluate the success of the program through feedback, performance metrics, and ongoing assessments.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to attract and recruit top graduate talent.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously evolve and enhance the program.
  • Promote a culture of learning, diversity, and inclusion within the program.
  • Track and report on key program outcomes, ensuring accountability and alignment with long-term goals.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree (required); advanced degree (preferred).
  • Proven experience in program management, education, or talent development.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in delivering early-career programs in global contexts.
  • Experience in working with higher education providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of graduate development best practices, employee training, and career progression.
  • Passion for mentoring and developing young talent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
