An opportunity exists for a Principal Learning to join the decarbonisation project. The decarbonisation team supports Fortescue in achieving its goal of decarbonisation of the Pilbara operations by 2030.
The Principal Learning is a Perth based role on a Monday to Friday based at 256 St Georges Terrace with regular short-term visits to our Pilbara Operations mine sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, design and implement learning solutions for the decarbonisation project
- Analyse learning requests to understand the scope, business impact, content required, SMEs and delivery method
- Work with stakeholders to address learning requirements and design learning solutions, including OEMs, Project Managers, Decarb site leaders, Training Delivery team and the wider decarbonisation team
- Build the capability of the site training delivery teams in understanding learning and training requirements for decarbonisation projects
- Manage train the trainer and first-person competent processes for equipment, infrastructure and processes related to the decarbonisation project
- Develop and manage interfaces with key stakeholders including the Training Delivery Teams, OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and the decarbonisation delivery team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Learning analysis, development and implementation experience and background required
- Training needs analysis and learning analysis development experience highly desirable
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment highly desirable
- Interest in renewables, decarbonisation activities and electrified equipment.
