Our Opportunity

Work Location: Eliwana - Fortescue’s Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama & Pinikura (PKKP) People.

 

Roster:  7D7N14R FIFO from Perth, Busselton, Karratha or Port Hedland

 

As a Process Operator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our ore processing facility (OPF). This includes monitoring equipment, ensuring the smooth processing of iron ore from raw material to finished product, and adhering to safety and environmental policies. Your role is essential in maximizing plant efficiency and product quality, directly impacting our operational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor processing equipment and facilities, ensuring efficient throughput and high-quality output
  • Conduct regular general inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure operational reliability
  • Ensure compliance with Fortescue’s safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to facilitate repairs and preventive maintenance

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience operating large crushing screening processing plants including MMD sizers, cone crushing circuits associated conveying systems and associated plant components.
  • Strong safety standards and adherence to Fortescue's company safety values
  • Positive attitude with an eagerness to learn new things.
  • Leadership experience desirable
  • Working at heights desirable
  • Experience operating systems SCADA, Citect, Simplicity, and Meridian desirable
