15-Month Fixed Term Contract or Secondment
As part of the broader Decarb. group, Green Mobility’s objectives include identifying a portfolio of technically and economically viable zero emissions solutions for HME and portable charging.
The primary focus of this role is to provide project management services to support delivery of integrated, operable, and maintainable, zero emissions HME and mobile charging solutions for Fortescue. The specific, developmental equipment the role focuses on will vary from a portfolio including battery electric haul trucks, battery electric ancillary equipment, tethered drilling equipment and mobile chargers. These solutions are genuine world firsts, so this role represents an exciting opportunity to be on the forefront of the development. Elements of the role include project management, vendor management, stakeholder management, market sounding, economic analysis, capital approvals, budgeting and forecasting, scheduling, QAQC, cross-functional communication, change management and health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and document detailed work scopes and resource requirements
- Manage projects to ensure that all deliverables are on time, budget and within specification
- Create and manage risk and opportunity registers
- Support the creation and assessment of Requests for Proposal with Contracts team
- Complete capital approval requests including cash flow analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Manage projects across full lifecycle including QAQC compliance
- Coordinate stakeholders across several organisations, including OEM Vendors and Operations
- Use industry and operational knowledge to influence positive project outcomes
- Coordinate across mine planning, operations, asset management and ops readiness teams to provide and deliver detailed requirements and specifications
- Design Validation Plan activities including test and validation of prototype equipment
- Travel to vendor locations and sites on ad-hoc basis in support of development projects
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualifications or demonstrated experience in complex Project Management
- Qualification in Engineering or another relevant discipline
- 5+ years of relevant experience in mining industry with relevant equipment
- Experience in Design Development projects would be beneficial to candidates
- Trade qualifications with the right additional experience will also be considered.
