This application is an expressions of interest to be considered for future roles within our business. We are seeking qualified Trades People or those nearing the completion of a trade apprenticeship for opportunities across our Pilbara sites.

  • Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters
  • Electricians - Fixed Plant, Infrastructure, Power Station, Rail Maintenance, Instrumentation Techs
  • Fabricators
  • HD Fitters
  • Auto Electricians

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Perform all duties associated with your trade qualification
  • Mentoring and supporting Apprentices
  • Work in conjunction with all other trades and operations teams
  • Demonstrate an alignment to the Fortescue Values
  • Ensure FMG and site operations procedures and policies are followed

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Australian Trade Qualification
  • C Class Manual Licence 
  • HRWL - Forklift, Working at Heights, EWP and Confined Space are highly desirable however, not essential
  • Previous mining experience highly desirable
  • High regard for safety
