This application is an expressions of interest to be considered for future roles within our business. We are seeking qualified Trades People or those nearing the completion of a trade apprenticeship for opportunities across our Pilbara sites.
- Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters
- Electricians - Fixed Plant, Infrastructure, Power Station, Rail Maintenance, Instrumentation Techs
- Fabricators
- HD Fitters
- Auto Electricians
We have various rosters available depending on the role and site. Our lifestyle roster means that you can balance your work and family life. At Fortescue, we value Family, and we will support you so that you can show up for both your Fortescue family and family at home.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all duties associated with your trade qualification
- Mentoring and supporting Apprentices
- Work in conjunction with all other trades and operations teams
- Demonstrate an alignment to the Fortescue Values
- Ensure FMG and site operations procedures and policies are followed
Qualifications and Experience
- Australian Trade Qualification
- C Class Manual Licence
- HRWL - Forklift, Working at Heights, EWP and Confined Space are highly desirable however, not essential
- Previous mining experience highly desirable
- High regard for safety
