Location: Perth

 

 

Roster: Monday to Friday (Adhoc site travel)

 

 

Fortescue are presently seeking an experienced Quality Advisor to join the Project Delivery & Readiness team working on Green Power Projects.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Undertake Project Quality coordination activities, including the development and tracking of Quality activities, deliverables and inspections
  • Support development, implementation and maintain conformance to the Quality Management framework
  • Identification, review and approval of Contractor and Supplier technical Quality Deliverables and against specified technical requirements
  • Establish, document and communication Project Quality requirements in collaboration with Project stakeholders
  • Undertake tender/bid evaluations, provide advice and guidance on level of confidence, actions to mitigate potential gaps and risks to the project scope
  • Monitor and report to Projects and other stakeholders on the health and status of Quality across the portfolio
  • Monitor progress to ensure the project Quality execution is on schedule and within quality and cost estimates and change management processes are maintained
  • Plan & conduct Project Quality Audits and reporting in accordance with Project and Business Unit requirements and ensure any identified corrective actions are effectively implemented. 

 

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Minimum 3 years’ quality related experience
  • University degree in Engineering or trade (Installation, construction, commissioning)
  • Experience providing project quality support (implementation and maintenance) throughout Engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start up projects. (i.e. EP, EPC, EPCM, CM). Oil and Gas, Energy, Resources sectors
  • ISO 9001 Auditor training/certification (desirable)
  • High level written skills with excellent attention to detail
  • High level of passion for renewable energy.
