Refrigeration Technician

Our Opportunity

Location: Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.

Roster: 7 Days 7 Off Fifo Ex Perth 

Key Responsibilities

• Complete statutory service reports, scope work, identify parts requirements and complete installations
• Carry out refrigeration servicing, repairs and inspection on all equipment at Fortescue’s Cloudbreak Minesite
• Provide safe, effective and timely refrigeration maintenance
• Schedule maintenance and breakdown fault finding on a wide range of infrastructure equipment
• Liaise with the planning team to ensure planned maintenance schedule is implemented
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Fortescue’s Safety policy and procedures and in line with relevant Australian Standards

Qualifications and Experience

• Refrigeration Trade Certificate
• Restricted Electrical licence or equivalent
• ARCtick Refrigeration Handling licence RAC01
• At least 3 year’s post trade work experience
• Mining/heavy industry experience
• Ability to communicate across multiple departments with a commitment to service
• Current C Class Drivers licence
