Security Investigations Analyst

Our Opportunity

Work Location: Perth CBD - Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: Monday to Friday

Fortescue is seeking a Security Investigations Analyst to join the security team, focusing on digital risk analysis, investigations, and threat monitoring to protect people, assets, and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct OSINT investigations and deliver detailed reports.
• Monitor security threats and provide actionable advice.
• Support sensitive legal, HR, and governance investigations.
• Use and evaluate OSINT tools across surface, deep, and dark web platforms.
• Collaborate with security teams to enhance our lean and agile security function.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in OSINT collection and online investigations.
• Proficiency in using OSINT tools on Windows and Linux.
• Experience with virtual machines and online personas.
• Strong communication skills, including high-quality report writing.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview eDiscovery Solutions.
• Knowledge of structured analytical techniques in a corporate setting.
• OSINT certifications and a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
