Work Location: Perth.Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

 

Roster: Monday – Friday – 6 month fixed term contract

 

Are you passionate about driving change and shaping a sustainable future? Fortescue, a trailblazer in green energy, technology and metals, is seeking a dynamic Senior Brand Specialist to join the team on a 6-month fixed term contract (parental leave cover). In this role, you will craft compelling narratives and ensure our brand remains at the forefront of the industry, engaging policymakers, business leaders, and shareholders with the economic benefits of transitioning from fossil fuels to renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and manage project and campaign work plans, ensuring alignment with budgets and timelines.
  • Oversee project briefs, prioritize tasks, and allocate work across project and campaign teams.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure delivery within budget and deadlines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs and aligning expectations.
  • Serve as the primary communication link for the Marketing and Brand team, ensuring timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Communicate technical project details to non-technical stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Support financial tracking, budgeting, reporting, and forecasting for the team.
  • Collaborate with team leads to manage workflows and ensure consistent, high-quality output across teams.

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Significant, demonstratable experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, or community relations, with strong expertise in managing projects from start to finish.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and effectively resolve conflicts and de-escalate tense situations.
  • Experience with project management tools like Monday.com and a solid understanding of brand, digital, and marketing disciplines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, meeting deadlines, and managing competing priorities across multiple time zones.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adaptable, and a reliable team player with a high level of self-motivation and attention to detail.
  • Willing to work non-traditional hours to align with global teams and stakeholders.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure while remaining flexible and responsive to changing needs.
