This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement and supply chain professional to work on a first class and diverse portfolio of renewable infrastructure projects, with a focus on process plant and equipment to produce green molecules from green electricity.  

 

This position plays a crucial role in contracting, procurement, and supply chain support to the development and operation of electrolyser and other green molecule (e.g. ammonia synthesis) plants globally.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate and evaluate tender packages for major capital equipment required for green hydrogen production and processing
  • Conduct sourcing activities and negotiate contract terms and conditions, to support establishment of strategic framework agreements and call-offs
  • Develop well written, well-structured category, contracting and sourcing documentation that supports FFI’s global business plan
  • Provide strategic procurement advice to key stakeholders and capital projects teams
  • Conduct and periodically refresh end-to-end Supply Chain Analysis and Category Strategy
  • Develop and implement innovative commercial frameworks for portfolio application
  • Provide analysis and advice to support strategic procurement decision-making, business planning, project cost estimation and scheduling
  • Identify and evaluate key risks at a contract formation and seek input from other functions as appropriate (e.g. technical, legal etc.)
  • Contract administration to support execution, including correspondence, contract notices, claims mitigation, assessment and resolution

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in C&P within major projects or category management in the energy / infrastructure sector
  • Experience in EPC contracting strategy development and delivery within owners team preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, law, engineering or construction desirable.
  • The ability to work in a complex, fast-paced environment across multiple work packages
  • Attention to detail

  • Effective at building stakeholder relationships with international teams. Can engage effectively with engineers, legal, quality management, project controls and logistics to deliver portfolio and project objectives.
