We are seeking a talented Senior Process Control Engineer to lead our automation team and drive the optimisation of control systems across our mining operations. Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and manage a team of Process Control Engineers, ensuring workload prioritisation and high-performance delivery.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and optimisation of Cimplicity SCADA, and Emerson PLC systems to improve plant performance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to resolve downtime events and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Champion safety and operational excellence through proactive technical solutions and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Maintenance, Shutdown, and Engineering teams to deliver integrated control system outcomes.
  • Support capital projects by providing technical expertise and ensuring alignment with automation strategies and best practices.

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Control Systems, Instrumentation, or related field).
  • Proven experience leading process control teams in complex industrial environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience conducting root cause analysis and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Competency with systems such as SAP and data analysis tools.
