We are seeking a talented Senior Process Control Engineer to lead our automation team and drive the optimisation of control systems across our mining operations. Your leadership and technical expertise will ensure operational efficiency, safety, and reliability through innovative automation solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead automation innovation in a world-class operation. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Process Control Engineers, ensuring workload prioritisation and high-performance delivery.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimisation of Cimplicity SCADA, and Emerson PLC systems to improve plant performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis to resolve downtime events and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Champion safety and operational excellence through proactive technical solutions and initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Maintenance, Shutdown, and Engineering teams to deliver integrated control system outcomes.
• Support capital projects by providing technical expertise and ensuring alignment with automation strategies and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Control Systems, Instrumentation, or related field).
• Proven experience leading process control teams in complex industrial environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience conducting root cause analysis and process improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Competency with systems such as SAP and data analysis tools.
