Work Location: Chichester Hub – Christmas Creek; Fortescue’s Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.
Roster: 8D6R ex Perth
Reporting to the OPF Planning and Shutdown Superintendent, the Senior Planner will be responsible for managing Planning and Material logistic Coordinators, within duration and budget.
Responsible for performing advanced professional planning duties, including conducting advanced planning studies, research and analyses; oversees the most complex development projects, master plan and development code amendments, policy/ordinance development and project administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing planning team to ensure shutdown work orders are processed and planned to a high standard.
- Ensuring all master data meets work management standards.
- Tracking and Reporting on Notifications, Work Orders and Completion Rates
- Define and implement Work Management Process that best suits operating philosophy
- Working closely with the Engineering and Execution teams to ensure Strategies are correct.
- Strategies for our Shutdowns and Weekly
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
- Reviewing Purchase Requisitions
- Strong focus on Safety is a must.
- A strong understanding of FMG values, procedures, and processes.
- Understand and coach planning best practices.
- Develop ad hoc reports for leadership team
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong Master Data change experience
- Proven Process development and implementation experience
- Strong understanding of Fixed Plant maintenance processes
- Strong understanding of Work Management Processes
- Strong SAP experience
- Good public speaking skills
- Managing a budget
- Facilitate and present at meetings.
