Our Opportunity

 

 

Work location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.

 

Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth

 

As the Shutdown Coordinator, your role will be to collaboratively work with internal stakeholders and our vendor partners, managing high volumes of maintenance tasks from planning through to execution, to ensure delivery of safe and successful shutdown campaigns.

 

The shutdown team work closely with other teams within the wider operation of the business to ensure the plant remains reliable, with an ongoing focus on safety and continuous improvement.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Plan shutdown execution framework within a planning rhythm, working closely with asset owners, planning department and shutdown schedulers
  • Develop resource requirements and engage vendor partners for all shutdowns
  • Manage asset reliability with maintenance tasks by engaging with the asset owners and planning against budgetary requirements
  • Management of vendor resources ensuring safety of personnel, quality of work completed and managing completion against planned and scheduled maintenance
  • Execute modular and major shutdowns demonstrating ownership and accountability
  • Review and optimise shutdown scopes

 

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Previous experience in shutdowns and mechanical maintenance within a fixed plant processing facility leading trade personnel is essential
  • Strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large scale processing plant
  • Ability to work cohesively in a highly dynamic team environment
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, and the ability to meet deadlines and milestones
  • Trade Qualification is required
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft office and computerised maintenance management systems, SAP experience is desirable
