Our Opportunity

 

Work Location: Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.

 

Roster: 8D6R FIFO ex Perth or DIDO ex Port Hedland

 

Fortescue's Iron Bridge site are seeking an Administrator that has a willingness to learn, develop and be a positive team member. This position will be integral in assisting the day-to-day operations and will support the department, people and systems. 

 

This role will require a motivated and energetic individual who can work autonomously with a proactive attitude to assist, action and deliver all the tasks associated.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • High level, professional and efficient administration skills as well as a willingness to learn and can-do attitude.
  • Efficient, proactive and excellent time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing and complex priorities and timeframes.
  • Managing and booking travel and accommodation for site departments, visitor mobilisation, purchasing, accounts payable, on boarding new starters, leave management, maintaining rosters, reporting, auditing and general administration duties.
  • Building relationships and liaising with site departments and external contractors.

 

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • A keen and willing to learn attitude alongside excellent communication and interpersonal skills; enthusiasm to work well in a team and assist with ad hoc tasks.
  • Ability to problem-solve and generate ideas to improve processes; strong attention to detail and ability to continuously prioritise workload.
  • Previous travel and accommodation booking experience preferred.
  • Purchasing and invoicing experience highly desirable.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 Suite; SAP/Fiori experience preferable.
  • Business Administration qualification or relevant industry experience highly regarded, however not essential.
