Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth or 8D/6R – Residential - Port Hedland

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to perform a variety of essential engineering functions, including structural inspections, assessment and reporting of fixed plant assets, balanced machines, and non-process infrastructure. You will also review structural drawings and calculations, and provide design input for minor structural works.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structural inspections, defect assessments, and reporting across a wide range of site assets.
- Perform structural analysis and design of non-complex structures.
- Review technical drawings and engineering calculations.
- Provide expertise on fixed plant, balanced machines, and supporting infrastructure.
- Support asset management strategies with a strong understanding of operational environments.
- Apply knowledge in geotechnical and civil works to multidisciplinary tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong background in structural design, analysis, and inspection.
- Solid understanding of mining equipment and fixed plant operations.
- Knowledge of asset management systems, especially as it relates to infrastructure performance.
- Familiarity with geotechnical and civil engineering principles in mining or heavy industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Membership (or eligibility) with Engineers Australia
- Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
- Valid C-Class WA Driver’s Licence.
