Our Opportunity

 

Work location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal People.

 

 

Roster: 4D 3R FIFO Ex Perth

 

 

This is an opportunity to join Fortescue’s first magnetite operation as a Superintendent Planning. You will lead a large team of maintenance planners and schedulers delivering a high level of customer service to our inland and port side processing facilities (OPF & CHF) and maintenance services stakeholders overseeing end to end planning and scheduling for both weekly and shutdown maintenance activities. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a diverse team of planning and scheduling professionals fostering team culture whilst providing a top tier service to our stakeholders
  • Oversee the development of maintenance schedules to ensure alignment with reliability objectives minimising downtime
  • Generate and manage work management metric KPIs
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve planning effectiveness, asset reliability and budgetary targets
  • Ensure planning activities are executed in accordance with work management protocols
  • Manage and maintain accuracy and consistency of master data to enable effective maintenance scheduling, cost tracking and asset performance analysis
  • Mentorship and development focus to support your teams technical and personal growth

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in Maintenance Planning and Master Data management in a large-scale mining environment
  • Proven experience leading teams with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members
  • High level experience with SAP and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify data quality issues
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with exceptional organisational skills.
