Our Opportunity

 

Work Location:  Perth.  

 

Roster:  Monday to Friday.

 

Superintendent Product Development is responsible for overseeing Product Development teams in the product development of feature and capability work packages. The role leads a team of Development, Support and Technical teams. The role also interacts with cross-functional teams including Design, Delivery and V/V teams to meet the business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Product strategy: Support Manager Product Development in developing and executing a product delivery strategy that aligns with company goals and customer needs.
  • Roadmap management: Manage the product roadmap, including prioritization of features and updates, based on market research, user feedback, and business priorities.
  • Product development: Lead onshore and offshore teams to implement appropriate work methodologies for product development.
  • Product backlog management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, including user stories, tasks, and bugs, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap.
  • Team management: Oversee Product Development Supervisors, providing guidance, feedback, and support as needed.
  • Stakeholder management: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations and ensure their requirements are incorporated into the product roadmap
  • Work with team to map out career pathways and succession planning

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Product management expertise: must have deep knowledge and experience in product management, including strategy, planning, development, and execution.
  • Technical expertise: must have a strong technical background and be familiar with methodologies and product development processes.
  • Leadership and team management: must have strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to provide guidance, feedback, and support to team members.
  • Analytical and data-driven: must be able to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to ensure the success of the product.
  • Communication skills: must have strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and flexibility: must be adaptable and respond to changing priorities
