Our Opportunity:

 

Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.

 

Roster: 4D 3R FIFO ex Perth 

 

Fortescue is seeking a dedicated and high-performing Administration Supervisor to join our Iron Bridge Administration Department. This role will lead a team of site-based administrators, providing essential support to operational teams. 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead, mentor and coach a team of site-based administrators, ensuring effective workload and performance management.
  • Provide Executive Assistant support to the General Manager, including complex calendar and schedule management.
  • Manage rosters, leave, and flight coordination for site based teams. 
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and department programs (e.g. graduate programs, technical forums, training).
  • Liaise with key departments including People Operations, Office Management, and Information Management (SharePoint/document control).
  • Support department travel and VIP events, including Values forums and Family Day.
  • Manage purchasing administration including purchase orders and invoice reconciliation.
  • Process expenses and maintain compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare meeting materials, take minutes, and track action items.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Previous experience supervising or leading an administration team.
  • SAP experience and advanced proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Executive Assistant experience (desirable).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Flexible and agile approach with demonstrated initiative and a strong work ethic.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
