We are seeking a Condition Monitoring & Lubrication Supervisor to lead a high-performing team that keeps our Ore Processing Facility running safely, efficiently, and reliably.

 

In this leadership role, you will oversee our condition monitoring and lubrication programs for fixed plant equipment, ensuring asset reliability and peak performance. You’ll guide a skilled and diverse team of Lubrication and Condition Monitoring Technicians, providing technical expertise, developing team capability and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of technicians.
  • Manage and improve condition monitoring and lubrication strategies for fixed plant equipment.
  • Use vibration analysis and lubrication best practice to prevent equipment failure and optimise performance.
  • Allocate resources and coordinate work to meet planned schedules and operational targets.
  • Provide technical guidance, review work quality, and coach team members.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to resolve equipment issues.
  • Promote and enforce safe work practices in compliance with Fortescue and statutory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and team engagement.

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Experience in a supervisory role or leading a team.
  • Strong people management skills and able to foster an inclusive and high-performance culture.
  • Experience in condition monitoring or lubrication within a fixed plant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, fixed plant equipment and CMMS systems (SAP preferred).
  • Exposure to vibration analysis software, grease and hydraulic systems.
  • Relevant trade qualification or tertiary education.
  • C-Class driver’s licence.
  • Category II Vibration Analyst certification (desirable, minimum Cat II training).
  • Current Schedule 26 qualification.
