Fortescue is seeking an experienced and motivated qualified Electrical Supervisor to lead the NPI electrical and refrigeration team for Infrastructure Services Eliwana. This permanent full-time position will consist of ensuring work management is preformed safely, effectively and in a timely manner. Reporting to the Utilities Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all necessary statutory testing, maintenance inspections and audits of the sites and related facilities are completed within the regulatory time frames.
  • Actions arising from those audits are completed in a satisfactory manner and time frame.
  • Ensure all maintenance plans are completed and work is carried out in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Ensure relevant Maintenance management documents and associated files are updated and copies maintained.
  • Promote rigorous compliance to Zero Harm principles - i.e.  Ensure that the safety risks of maintenance activities not visible to the line have been identified e.g. risks related to new equipment or procedures in work area.
  • Provide visible safety leadership (lead by example), modelling positive safety behaviours to staff. Undertake incident reporting and investigation as required by corporate policies.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated safety leadership.
  • Trade qualified A Grade Electrician
  • Hold an Electrical Contractors license or Electrical Nominee qualification (not essential, but willing to obtain within the first year)
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal communication skills. Having the demonstrated ability to liaise and interact with individuals and groups of varying levels of authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and associated costs for control management and reporting functionalities.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with all MS Office suite of programs.
