Supervisor Electrical Maintenance

Location: Christmas Creek, located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.
Roster: 7D7N14R FIFO ex Perth, Busselton, Broome, Karratha, Port Hedland, Fitzroy Crossing and Kununurra.
An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified and dynamic Fixed Plant Maintenance Electrical Supervisor to join the OPF Electrical Maintenance team at Christmas Creek.
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Supervisor to lead a team to provide safe, effective and timely electrical maintenance to our equipment and ancillaries to optimise plant operational capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility of electrical compliance to electrical regulations and procedures within the fixed plant
- Manage electrical logbook compliance
- Providing leadership and support to a diverse team of trade personnel; work in conjunction with all OPF teams on scheduled works
- Driving safe systems of work with a strong and positive team safety culture
- Ensure development and succession plans are implemented to achieve a positive workplace culture
- Set clear expectations and standards for team members to meet organisational objectives
- Manage and plan daily work tasks and provide supervision to all electrical employees and contractors under your control
- Maintain strong adherence to weekly schedule to ensure all preventative maintenance is completely safely and efficiently
- Implement initiatives to drive electrical reliability
Qualifications and Experience
- WA Electrical Licence
- Schedule 26
- In-House Licence Nominee experience (preferred)
- HV Switching qualifications with previous experience
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance as well as WA electrical standards, regulations and legislation
- Leadership experience within a processing plant
- Experience in computer-based maintenance systems – SAP desirable
