Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples

 

 

Roster: 8 Days 6 Off Perth FIFO

 

 

This position is reporting to the Crusher Maintenance Services Coordinator. The Crusher Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the safe and effective completion of Crushing related maintenance tasks by leading a crew of fitters and boilermakers.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to the Crushing maintenance execution team
  • Strong focus on safe & sustainable execution of tasks with high and visible field presence
  • Ensure all maintenance work is completed on time and to a high standard of quality
  • Ensure full compliance to all BMS obligations and safety systems
  • Develop a team culture of continuous improvement aligned with Fortescue's values
  • Responsibility for the weekly planning, scheduling, and coordination of crushing mechanical maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure the plant remains reliable and available, with an ongoing focus on continuous Improvement

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Experience in Supervisor role, or similar leadership position
  • Demonstrated track record of problem-solving and solution implementation in a multi-discipline team-based environment.
  • Experienced in people management
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with competency in SAP and Fortescue safety processes knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large scale processing plant.
  • Mechanical Trade Certificate required
  • Extensive Crusher and related equipment experience needed
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Knowledge of the WHS Mines Act & Regulations, with ability to attain Schedule 26 certification
